I am a lifelong resident of Highland Park, former Senior Class President of Highland Park
High School, 12-year member of the City Council, and past President of the Birchwood
Club. I have spent my life dedicated to this incredible community. I have seen firsthand
what strong leadership can accomplish—and that is why I am proud to endorse Jon Center,
CPA, for Highland Park City Council.
As Highland Park looks toward the future, we need leaders who bring fresh ideas, financial
expertise, and a deep commitment to our community. Jon Center is the leader to bring all
these aspects to the community and why I am proud to endorse Jon.
In recent years, our community has seen a significant influx of young, new residents. Their
energy and vibrancy serve as a catalyst for growth and progress. Jon recognizes this exciting
shift and is committed to harnessing this momentum to advance Highland Park, ensuring
that it remains an exceptional place for both longtime residents and new families alike.
Jon is not just a financial expert—he is a problem solver and a change agent. As a Certified
Public Accountant and Chief Financial Officer, he has spent his career ensuring fiscal
responsibility, balancing budgets, and making smart financial decisions. In today’s
economic climate, we need someone on the City Council who understands how to
maximize resources, improve efficiency, and ensure taxpayer dollars are spent wisely.
Beyond his financial acumen, Jon is a dedicated Highland Park resident who truly cares
about our city. He is committed to enhancing public safety, supporting local businesses,
and improving city services in a way that is both sustainable and forward-thinking. His
